Christian Oppression, it's always been, and it's ignored

This is a problem for all genders, but mainly addressed toward women. Women are the caretakers in our society, let's face it. There are far more single-mothers than there are single fathers. Single fathers, however, being a mother myself, I can say I have the utmost respect for, of course single-mothers as well. But what I wanted to say is that I stumbled on a highly Christian mothering website the other day. The woman who blogged wrote some very intense and clearly emotionally-driven things. Her main point is that there is a lot of pressure toward her because she has children and wants children and loves to use her reproductive system because it's get her closer to God. This is not a question of my opinion about all of this is, it's about the ridiculous amount of comments underneath this that have basically horror stories of women who have been ridiculed by childless women for the fact that they have a lot of children; who are being told that they are 'patriarchal' in not using chemical contraception; and that their marriage won't last because of the 'stress of parenting'. They also get asked if they will have abortions while heavily pregnant or after telling someone casually, stating: I'm pregnant.

Okay. So Christians have always been persecuted. I get it. The Catholic church (and some protestants, more today do they show oppression toward minority groups)and its doctrines have persecuted many people, from people with a different skin colour, to homosexuals, other religions, etc, and have been surprisingly okay with pedophiles, you know, moving them to another location after they attack. So why is this different?

It's different because the people who are bullying them for the way they use their bodies naturally, as nature (or they would say God) intended them to, are feminists, are social justice warriors from tumblr, who don't understand that some women feel empowered to carry and raise life and the lives of future generations. The same people oppressing them, are women and certain men who think their lifestyle is better, who think that there are systems all around them, telling them what to do, how to be. Well, newsflash, you are a system and a systematic system of systematically brainwashed, intolerant individuals who understand 'systems of oppression' so well that they use it against other people. Want to talk about systematic oppression, let's talk about traditional women who are being told that to keep their bodies natural and to have children is oppressive to them.

We live in a culture that doesn't glorify having children as an honour. We live in a culture in which having children is seen as a plague. A plague on your individuality. A plague on your aspirations and dreams.

I tell those who have children and want children. All sorts of people are for you and all sorts of people are against you. You might be surprised to find some atheists supporting your desire to stay natural and be fertile. You might find that it's those who claim to be the most oppressed, that the world is unfair and we need to change it, that are the ones who are the meanest, the most intolerant. It's a philosophical fact that certain oppressed groups become oppressors. Hey, the Black Panthers were active and 'woke' back then, emotional and intense, but they were also unlawfully violent and hateful, and that just splits people apart and doesn't help racism. Keep on being a mothering beauty! Don't let those feminists, those 'free women' get you down! Keep loving as hard as you can, keep working as hard as you can, and spare what you don't need!

All the love! xoxoxo
